Privacy Policy

In short
- Both apps work offline and need no account or sign-in.
- Your child's profile and progress stay on your device. We never receive them.
- We do not collect email addresses, contacts, photos or location.
- There are no in-app purchases.
- Ads are non-personalized and marked as directed at children.
Who we are
KidStudio publishes educational apps for young children. This policy covers KidLearn and KidAwareness. Both follow the same approach, but they differ in a few features, which are set out below.
Information stored on your device
You can create a learner profile with a name, age and avatar. The apps save this profile and your child's progress on the device only. It is never sent to us or to any server.
You can delete this information at any time by clearing the app's storage in your device settings or by uninstalling the app.
Information we do not collect
Neither app asks for an email address, phone number or other contact details. Neither app accesses your contacts, photos or location. There are no accounts, no sign-in and no in-app purchases.

Advertising
Both apps show ads through Google AdMob. All ad requests are set to non-personalized and tagged for child-directed treatment, so ads are not based on your child's interests or browsing history.
Analytics and crash reports (KidLearn only)
KidLearn uses Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to collect anonymized usage statistics and crash reports. These help us find bugs and improve the app. They do not include your child's name or other personal details, and they are not used for ad personalization. KidAwareness does not use Firebase.
Microphone (KidAwareness only)
Some KidAwareness activities ask your child to answer out loud. These use your device's built-in speech recognition. We do not record, store or have access to any audio. KidLearn does not request microphone access.
Children's privacy
Both apps are made for children and are designed to comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the Google Play Families Policy.
Third-party services
Google provides AdMob and Firebase. Their handling of information is described in the Google Privacy Policy and Privacy and Security in Firebase.
This website
This website has no sign-up, forms, cookies or analytics. It loads fonts from Google Fonts, and the hosting provider keeps standard server logs.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update it on this page and change the effective date above.
